Best Art Ever!

Today we made art.We used chalk for the outline. We worked as a team to create a picture of Hurupaki maunga.  We practiced first and now we are on to doing our masterpieces.

  I am pod 9s blog master this week. I have 2  siblings and 3 gunie pigs.  My brothers name is Elijah    my sisters name is Ezrah. I am 8 years old and,my siblings are 3 and 6.

I have a brother Adam and a sister Bridget.I have a dog Rigby and another dog Disney.

We are moving house in a few more days.

Our new house is at our old house,and we got rid of our cabin.

Todays Science. Chemical reactions.

Todays science was all about chemical reactions. We mixed malt vinegar and baking soda to make what is called carbon dioxide. First, we poured malt vinegar into a measuring cup. Then, we  pulled out our balloon and baking soda and using a funnel we shook the baking soda into the balloon. Next, there was a reaction witch caused the balloon to inflate. Finally, we tried it with a bigger bottle and a bigger balloon which was a rubber glove.

The nice cup of tea experiment

First, take the teabag  out of the box.

 Then, pour contents out and softly stick a pencil through the bag.

Next, balance the tea bag on a flat surface and light one end.

My mum is a amazing creature. She likes cleaning because she does it for a job. She always supports me in sport and drives me from one sport to the next.
Mum always puts other peoples needs before her own. She says " I love you always and I always will, " and " I missed you so much," when we return home from school.
Mum has brown hair, brown eyes and long nails. She likes to save money [not] and makes us do jobs. She is softly spoken most of the time. Mum makes me feel happy, healthy and safe .

Todays Science.

Today pod 9 and 10 had science and the experiment is burning magnesium. Most thought that it isn't going to burn but it did.

             Today pod 9 is doing plans for a character description about their mum.

My favourite thing to do in pod 9 is science and P.E. Pod 9 is learning science and reading theatre. My favourite thing to do out of school is surfing and playing squash. I also enjoy playing rugby and hockey too. I have cats Rosie and O.J [ Oscar junior ].
