Today we were very lucky to have Harriet come in and help us learn more about drains and how pollution can affect fresh water and marine life. In these photos we are putting different things that may harm the environment such as chemicals, soil, rubbish found on the beach and shells into a bowl with water. We decided that everyone is responsible for pollution and not just one group of people.
When you are washing you're car please don't wash it near a drain instead do it on grass,gravel or at a car wash to stop the chemicals going down the drain and harming sea life.
ReplyDeleteDon't wash your paint brushes outside by a storm water drain. Its better to do it on the grass but don't wash it to much.
