Kauri gum






Today we were doing some facinating writing about Kauri gum here are some photos of us polishing
some gum .

    kauri gum sure is beautiful and Kauri trees are really big.
    Do any other trees grow that big?

      Hi Alexi, You should Google, Redwood trees, the are in Canada and USA. They grow taller and live for just as long, but are nowhere near as round as Kauri. Te Matua te Ngaire is over 13meters in diameter (round). What is the largest Kauri tree you have visited?

    Hi pod 9. Me and my family went to Barge Park on Sunday to see the trains. There was a gem and rock club there and they had Kauri gum! Can you guess how big and how many there were? Savanna
